* Vaulting: a great opportunity for children ages 6 & up. Gymnastics on horseback working on the baulting barrels & draft horses!
** Prior jumping experience required!

Payment can be made in two $75 payments, due on the first and fourth week of lessons. We also offer a discounted price of $140 if paid in full before the first week of classes.

There are 7 weeks of lessons starting the week of March 3-5 and ending the week of April 28-30. There will be a two week break March 24-26 & March 31-April 2.

Fellowship Riding Lessons are a perfect blend of riding and Bible lessons. One hour consists of a riding lesson given by one our CHA certified instructors to help develop and refine your horsemanship skills. The other hour is a time with each other in the Word of God! Growth in riding skills and a deeper understanding of Jesus guaranteed!

CHA Subdivided Class Level Descriptions

Level 1A: First-time riders—start, stop, steer, circles/reverse as a group. First trot.

Level 1B: Warm-up exercises, 2-point, posting trot, improved position.

Level 1C: Rate control at the trot, 2-point/standing position at the trot, trot circles, introduction to diagonals

Level 2A: Group trot, trot poles, use of directional legs, improving transitions.

Level 2B: First lope/canter, basic use of bending aids, barrel/pole bending patterns. English: 1st jump.

Level 2C: Feeling diagonals, controlling lope/canter, group trot circles/reverses. Turns on the forehand. English: improving jumping position and control.

Level 3: Coordination of aids, advanced control and feel. English: continued jumping, cross rails, and verticals.

Adult Intro 1-2A: For adults who haven't ridden since they were young and want to get back into the saddle OR for those adults wishing to learn, but had no formal lessons/training. Basic handling, walk, trot class

Adult Intermediate 2B-3: For adults who are comfortable working with their horse at the walk, trot, posting, two-point, and at least some loping & beyond.
